Fish and chips delivered to Aston Fields
From one end of Bromsgrove to the other
We're at 110 Birmingham Road, up at the northern end of Bromsgrove where the road heads out towards Lickey End. Aston Fields sits at the other end entirely — south of the town centre, down around the railway station and the row of shops along New Road.
So there's a bit of Bromsgrove between us and you. Which is precisely why we deliver: on a wet Tuesday, nobody in Aston Fields wants to drive the length of the town for a bag of chips, and they shouldn't have to.
Everything is fried when you order it — cod and haddock in crisp batter, chips cut from Lincolnshire potatoes — and it leaves a kitchen holding a 5-star Food Hygiene Rating from the Food Standards Agency.
Off the train and straight to the table
Aston Fields is the commuter end of Bromsgrove, and the station is the reason. If you're coming back down the Cross City line from Birmingham, the useful trick is to put your order in as the train pulls out of Barnt Green — by the time you've walked home, we've been frying.
Delivery takes around an hour, so it suits the journey rather than the sprint. If you're driving back and you're already north of town, collection is the quicker option: order ahead and it's usually ready in 10–15 minutes.
One thing worth knowing before you plan around us: the fryers are off on Sundays, and Monday to Thursday we don't open until 4:30pm. On Fridays and Saturdays we're on from midday too, which is the one to remember for a lunchtime.

Feeding the whole house
Aston Fields is family territory, and the full menu is built for that rather than for one lonely fish supper:
- Kids meals at £4.99 — a cod bite, a small sausage, three chicken nuggets or a fish cake, each with chips, a drink and a treat
- Kebabs — doner, chicken tandoori or chicken med, in pittas, wraps, baps or boxes; the Kebab Box with a cone of chips is £7.99
- Burgers from £4.50, including a battered halloumi burger at £6.00 if someone's off the meat
- Pies and pasties at £4.50 — steak and kidney, chicken and mushroom, beef and onion, cheese and onion
If anyone at the table has an allergy, please ring us on 01527 873228 before ordering — our fryers and prep surfaces are shared, so a phone call gets you a straight answer.
Or collect, if you're heading our way
Plenty of Aston Fields customers collect rather than wait, especially if they're already driving north through town or out onto the A38. We're straight on Birmingham Road, so it's an easy pull-in and out again.
